Courses to prepare candidates for admission to drama schools

The courses are aimed at people who wish to take entrance exams at state (National Theater School and State Theater School of Northern Greece) and private drama schools in Greece, as well as at drama schools in other countries. They include courses in acting, vocal and theatrical singing, modern dance, as well as theoretical courses in Theater history and acting history. Students work in groups to practice teamwork, cooperation, flexibility and individually preparing the appropriate material for the exams. Improvisation is a key tool for candidates’ work and practice. The lessons also include technique exercises regarding breathing, the voice (basic principles of orthophony and articulation) and the body (strengthening exercises, correct posture, etc.). The principle and main goal of the preparation courses, like all the courses in our workshop, is for each student to be able to cooperate and work within a group, while at the same time developing their personal means of expression and their special dynamics.
